Wow, thanks for all the good advice on weather to buy a house or not!

As it turns out, we had looked at a place we liked last night that, although we had the same problem with chaosloom's credit, the option to co-sign with a family member was also made available. As it turns out, I was having lunch with my dad, so he kindly offered to co-sign. So, since this is a year lease, it looks like we will take at least a year to think about it, and do what ever we can to repair credit, save money, and simply decide if it is even something we want.

Oh, and the new place? It is in an apartment complex the property manager thought we would be a good fit because some of the other tenants are an eclectic mix of artsy types (one example she gave was that one was a fire dance). Also, it is on Echo St. in Piedmont. What a cool address! We are thinking of naming it The Echo Chamber.

Yeah, I was looking forward to letting you guys know. It is down near your end of Piedmont too. Easy walking distance, in fact.

Yeah!!! Piedmont is such a great a great street so much to do on it. Um except for the recent burglaries at local eateries don't stay out to late at night right now; But that’s cool we will have neighbors and we can hang out and do dinner at the local restaurants. So when do you guys move and I assume you will need help and all that. Oh except just warning you Martin and I are going to San Diego Aug 30-Sep 8

We want to try to get all the big stuff moved in the weekend of 23/24, so before you guys go to Dirty Waffle. Help is much appreciated. The deposit was rather large on this place, so we are feeling kind of broke, which is why we are thinking we will need to take any offers of help. We get the keys today, so we can start moving things over as soon as we can.
