Singles Game night

A friend of mine asked me to host a Singles Game Night at her game shop in Oakland. I was wondering if I could get some feedback from the peanut gallery.

Please comment if you have any thoughts to share on this idea. I am especially looking for ideas of how to promote this as well as suggestions for good games to play.

You shouldn't really Roll play, but always Role Play.

I will gladly take a good Role Player or even someone who is willing to try over some of the players that I have played with before that are more Roll Players.

Some night I might want to do a "Role Playing lite" type game to give some people a chance try out that kind of thing. I, however, do not know what would be suitable for a 2-hour game night.
