I created a new icon based on today's S*P. I will let abditus and archangelkhaos duke it out as to who gets to use it.

As I am inspired to make new icons, or if someone requests one from me for some reason, I will post them in my LJ Icon gallery.

What program are you using to make them? I'm interested in learning how to make animated gifs and the like for the webpage I want to write for my summer vacation.

I use Adobe ImageReady, which is packaged with Adobe Photoshop (which is not cheap!). However, I think you can get some of the same results from Photoshop Elements, which is basically Photoshop-lite.
