Associate Searcher

Last night I was officially sworn-in as an Associate for CalESAR. What this means is that I can now be called for fairly local day search and rescue operations (potentially with abditus or even treboresque if he ever reactivates). I am going to continue with the training to get to Trained level so that I can be called for longer, further searches eventually.

Congratulations! That is really rather impressive. All of it - to want to do it, to do the work to get qualified to do it, and still want to do it (and want to train to do move)!

I was wondering if you got called on that recent search in Yosemite but maybe thats not local enough. Good luck, hope you find those that are lost.
