technical difficulties aside

Meh! A bunch of the e-mail addresses that I sent the invitation for my scavenger hunt to bounced. Silverkun wanted a lit by April 1, and really, I have very few confirmations, and NONE from my latest mailing or posting, only people who are unable to attend replied so far.

Did I mention NONE is the number of confirmations I have received since I sent the last notice out?

Yeah, I am kind of discouraged here. Just a little.....

You see, although silverkun can whip up a bunch of players for the game if he needs them to fill out the ranks, they will be from his pool of people, and not necessarily people I know. Now, I don't mind there being people that I don't know in the game, but I would really like the majority to be people who are friends of mine since it is going to be in honor of my birthday.

So, perhaps I was unclear, and that is very likely since I was confused about what silverkun needed from me by April 1st, vs April 15th. Hopefully this will help clear things up:

If you can join me for the scavenger hunt that silverkun is putting on for me on May 19th, let me know here NOW. Yeah, now. Just a comment that you are in is all I need right now so you can be counted.

Please don't make me beg. My birthday sucked enough as it is last year, and I would rather break this string of sucky birthdays.

First off, I'd indicated that I'd love to play, so I didn't think I needed to fill the form out. I didn't realize that there was a lot of information on the form that might help Silverkun design the thing. Sorry about that.

So, I just filled it out....but I can't save it. I can only print it locally. I don't suppose that is what you intended?

That's OK, he does not need the info from the form until the 15th, just the yes, which for you, we had already noted. I am not sure why people cannot use the form, but I suspect it is due to what version of Acrobat people are using. Perhaps I need to save it down to another version so get a wider usage rate.

Regrettably, C and I are not free to make it out to any daytime scavenger hunt, but our evening is open, so we could make it to a post-hunt dinner or other get-together, like when we ended up at the Cliff House that one time.
