I just wanted to drop in and comment that I've seen your pictures around, and I'm really impressed. How do you go about picking out the person and painting to combine?

I guess I have an eye for it. I started with my own face years ago, so I trained myself to look for paintings that looked familiar. Not only did I find ones that worked for me, but I saw many that reminded me of friends I know. Having posted a request to do others is a bit of a challange because I find it works best if I see a painting that seems like that person, and then match it with a photo. However, I have been able to find something that works for most of the people I have been asked to do. Getting a photo that works with that painting is the next challange, and with some I have been fortunate to have a good selelction (emberleo, archachglekhaos), although with many others, I am stuck with the few that I have to work with.
