To me, it looks like a person in a cavern, or the backdrop for an animated or computer-animated science fiction move/tv show scene. I guess "new painting", computer generated, and butterfly wing all seem equally plausible to me. Unfortunately any meaningful portion of this response is too long to fit in your "other" category. Even just "backdrop from scene in sci-fi show/movie" wouldn't fit.
