If you read the details, there is No problem for American ownership. However, we will use your citizenship to our advantage, I am sure.

I did see that; on the other hand, there are surely additional hoops to be jumped through for US ownership. Taxes, for example, would be different I think. I'll try to do some research.

I am not sure, as stated in the post, how to go about buying it, but, I intend for others to join me, even if they cannot "buy" into the actual island.

It has good cell service, so I imagine we could get something set-up. Having internet connectivity is a must.
