Friday plans - plea for help

During my last conversation with the agent for the movers (when I called to point out to him that they had never even shown up) I asked if they could come on Friday instead. He said yes, but that was before talking with them, so I figure there is a chance they may not even be available.

I don' t want to rely on the friend that is helping O&R move that same day, although the idea that we could save money by splitting the cost of a larger truck is appealing, it is the manual labor that is lacking at this point. I am not supposed to lift anything heavier than 25 lbs, which makes me less than helpful for most of the furniture, and many of the boxes.

Is there anyone out there who does not work this Friday (for whatever reason) and is not otherwise obligated who could come help me move? There should be no sorting needed that day, just moving already packed boxes and furniture. Aside from the typical provisions, if it would help, I am willing to throw some money the way of those that help move my stuff that day.

Anytime really, as even if I don't have a truck the whole time, even just moving some of the smaller stuff is productive. I still need to confirm with O&R that we are getting a bigger truck together, but I might be able to use their minivan while they use the truck with means I can take more than just small stuff, even if not all the big stuff.
