calling all music lovers
Oct. 22nd, 2004 01:14 pmThanks,
archaglekhaos for the info about the perfomance of Mass for the Dead.
For those that are interested, here is the info:
San Francisco Renaissance Voices - October 29 - 8 PM
"Mass for the Dead" - Victoria's Requiem
As a prelude to All Hallows Eve, the crystalline sound of San Francisco Renaissance Voices debuts with a soaring a cappella performance of the Requiem, Mass for the Dead, by the great master of the Spanish Renaissance Tomas Luis de Victoria (1548-1611). Tickets - $10 general admission, $5 student or senior (with ID)
***
If there is anyone interested in joining me for this, I am considering going, but would rather not go alone. If I do go, I think I will wear that long velvet jacket that so many of my friends covet. Yes, that jacket.
So, yeah, lets make it an excuse to dress-up. What do you think?
