feeling the love

Reasons I am in a good mood today:

it is Friday

I get off early from work

I am enjoying the lovely weather

there is a three day weekend ahead

I have a large mocha from Cafe 817 (in which they use Sharffen Berger cocoa)

I am proud of myself for taking BART to work (not to mention just feeling better because of starting the day with movement)

when I went down to the kitchen this morning I discovered that abditus must have cleaned it last night because a weeks worth of dishes were no longer piled on the counters (he rocks!)

I get to watch The Amazing Race tonight with a good friend, while enjoying pizza and strawberry pie (not concurrently, though)

That puts me in a mood that's good, yet impatient. Come ON, 5pm!!!

You droped me off at the Bart station no more than 1 minute before a fremont train rolled in and took me directly to my stop. That was really nice.

Then today at work one of my coworkers, Bev, saw that it was a really slow day and I was doomed to a really boring day (boring enough that I might have been reduced to -dusting- which really is worse than bathrooms 'cause it takes longer, involves a lot more sneezing and I always wind up trying to beat dust balls off of my clothing for the rest of the day) so she asked the guys down in receiving if they had anything I could do. I spent a good two hours scanning stripped covers (got almost 1500 scanned), which was also incredibly boring but at least I felt like I was accomplishing something. Bev rocks.

Yes, I lead a sad and pathetic life.
