It is amazing to me the difference coming home to a clean house can have on my mood. After the lovely weather we have been having in the bay area for the last few weeks, the rain yesterday was really getting me down. I felt trapped inside at work and ended up eating a rather disappointing lunch with what I had on hand instead of going out to get something more appealing.

However, walking into a clean house was such a mood booster that I was chipper all evening. We even cleaned-up after dinner so are all ready for the invasion of game-heads tonight for Italian Game Night. This morning I left and the house was still looking good.

Now if we can just keep it relatively under control. I am still trying to help my bf to understand how much happier I am when I am not living in chaos. As a compromise, we will probably keep having bdot come by once a month to help keep things in control.
