Week in review

I decided to stay home today. I could have gone into the temp job I have this month, although right now it is going so slow, that I doubt I will be needed. Sure, I could use the 4 hour minimum I would end-up working if I went in, and I have already taken two days off this week, but I still feel like crap. Not as bad as I did at Lark, but still coughing and suffering from the associated headaches that go with the coughing.

Perhaps I should go into my clinic and make sure there is not something else that can be done, but I want to be home to get my new mobile phone which has not arrived yet and requires a signature. I ordered it on Monday and it was supposed to arrive on Tuesday, Wednesday at the latest. Meh!

I picked Tabitha up from the vet on Wednesday from her obligatory spaying. She was delighted to be home, and not at that scary vet place anymore. Within a day she was back to terrorizing psyche7772's cat (which she is doing right now, in fact) and finding trash and the like to convert into (un)suitable kitty toys.

I got back from Lark on Saturday, so was home on Sunday when psyche7772 mentioned that Dark Garden was having a sample sale. Well, that became a house event as we all piled into her car, even roommate C's mom, K, to peruse the offerings. Seeing as I did not own a DG corset yet, this seemed like a good opportunity to remedy that. In the end, I walked away with a baroque corset in pale pink and cream, and a black fabric cincher.

On the way back to the east bay, psyche7772 remembered that Two Star Dog was having a sale, so we headed there next. We all walked away with some nice new items, including an outfit that both psyche7772 and I got in our respective sizes.

This Saturday features a friend's wedding (with many attendees), followed by Gaskels, where I will have an excuse to wear my new corset (hmm.... must figure out what the rest of the outfit to go with that will be).

I think I need to rest-up in order to get through Saturday!
