Bleh! My day has not been going so well.
The first bump was reading my work e-mail messages upon arrival only to discover that while covering for my boss on Friday that I forgot to send part of a job to the vendor. This would be a simple Doh! if not for feeling like I always manage to mess something up when I cover for her, usually the not-paying-close-enough-attention type. I am so tired of feeling like a screw-up whenever I work on her projects. Friday was a very hectic day because I was handling two major priority jobs for her as well one of my own, so I was just happy I was able to get out by 6 PM (making me late for dinner with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)

The rest of the work day has not been too bad, but I was so depressed about the screw-up that I did not eat anything for breakfast until almost noon (a small bowls of microwaved hot cereal), which ended up just being lunch, as I have not eaten since.
In between work today I was inspired to spend a significant amount of time putting together an informative post to![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
naturalliving about xylitol. The first two comments on the post were a critique about the FDA (ah, yeah I am not a fan of the FDA, but my post was hardly promoting them) and a complaint about putting the post behind a cut-tag (although normaly sensative to LJ cuts, what I really wanted to say was "Wah, you had to scroll your friends page, you poor thing!").
On a brighter note, my grandmother wrote to me today saying she just noticed that my birthday is tomorrow and that she wanted to take me out to dinner. So, once we agreed on date and place she made reservations for her & granddad, my BF and myself at Hawthorn Lane on Thursday night! Yea for grandparents!
