My birthday....

Since last year my birthday sucked because no solid plans to celebrate were followed through, I am going to have to make them myself this year. (grrr)

I have decided what I want to do for my birthday this year, or at least part of it. There is still room for enhancements (hint, hint).

Since it comes out the weekend right after my birthday, I want a group of friends to go see Shrek 2 with me.

Those that consider themselves my friends and wish to see my have a better birthday than last year will help make this happen.

I have spoken.

(See, there, now I can't be accused of not letting people know what I want. I am determined not to spend my birthday in tears this year, OK? Is that really so much to ask?)

What weekend? Which theatre? What showing?

The only place I KNOW that is showing it for sure is the Sony Metreon (I think they are doing an advanced showing on the 20th), although I am sure there are lots places showing it (even here in the east bay). Tickets are not available until May 7th, so we will have to wait until then to figure out where and exactly when.

I was thinking late Saturday (May 22) morning for a matinee (followed by some sort of birthday party type activities), but Friday might work too.

Hrmph...

Well, I'll keep looking for updates, but that day is already looking booked (one b-day party for a friend who I've literally known since HS & a gaming gig).

That Friday is a FNW, just FYI for the small dance crowd cross-over you have among your friends.

I would personally love to help you celebrate, but it is looking like I might have to see you on my own on Sunday.

Sunday might be an option as well. Aside from you, no one else has said anything to me, so when I ask for more feedback on what the best day is, I will include Sunday as well.

Sunday will also work for me, although I expect to be of lower priority in the planning. =)

sunday works better for me as I'm graduating that saturday. But I don't know my work schedule this far in advance so *shrugs*

If you are working anytime in the next few days could you find out for me if any of the weekend times are matinee prices (and what amount that is)? Enough people are on a budget that it would be nice to not each have to spend almost $10 a person for the movie portion of the party alone. Thanks!

BTW, congraduations!

Wish I could, dear. There's an ECW event that weekend that I've already promised to go to.

On the other hand, my birthday party will be in the south bay a month later, and you'll finally get to meet Kristin...
