For the last few months [livejournal.com profile] chaosloom has been sleeping on an inflatable mattress, so we were delighted to find out he has access to a free futon and frame. The only problem is that it does not seem like it will fit in my station wagon. So, we need to find a vehicle that is big enough to fit a futon frame to drive his new bed from San Francisco (Sunset district) to Vallejo.

Anyone with a big enough vehicle available this weekend to help?

I recommend trying the futon out first...it may not be as comfortable as the air mattress

I say this having owned a futon, and having shared an air mattress. It's highly dependent on the brands and conditions of mattresses in question, and the backs, but it should not be casually assumed the futon is an upgrade. Good luck sorting it out.
