Of course, I have almost nothing to do with tourney so this matters to me not in the least. Many people will be cheered by how they are finally enjoying being dressed for that fine (read as chilly) English weather we don't usually experience during faire in California.
And isn't Portland more up than SF (taking North as being up on most maps)?
If the forecast is even remotely correct, it will probably clear up by this weekend. That does not help us who are going up tonight and dealing with a wet site, but hey, at least it won't get closed again like last week. We hope.
I'll cross my fingers and toes for a not-too-wet site, and a hopefully dry weekend!
I was a little worried when I woke up and saw just how cloudy it is over here. It ought to rain during the week, instead of on weekends when people are able to go out and play. :(
While I have to agree with you because I'm on the bike and don't really want to die (slide on slippery surface) today if we don't get some rain soon California is going to be in a hurt of trouble and you can expect water rationing to start soon.
My issue is more that we had warm dry weather all week, but now that I am about to head off to faire it is raining again! One weekend of rain at faire was more than enough, considering how raining it was last weekend. If it has been raining all week, it would seem less ironic to me that it is now raining again.
Sorry, that was us Portland folk
Sorry about that.
At least it's good tourney weather?

Re: Sorry, that was us Portland folk
Yes, Portland is more 'up' than SF, but a bunch of us have been living in the South Bay the last couple of years.
