paying my dues

I upgraded to a paid account. What finally did it for me was the syndicated feeds. Now I can add a butt-load more (unpaid accounts only get .99 credit points, paid ones get something like 20). Right now I have mainly have alton_brown, and a handful of daily comics (foxtrot_feed, nonsquitor_feed, comic_getfuzzy, and doonesbury).

That and I can add new user pics. Weeee! Watch the artist go wild. I really like noirem's expressive cartoons a friend made her (so cute!) and the pin-up 'toon that musique174 got permission to use is darling. I will probably even join the bandwagon and use a south park one as well.
Hmm, I have mixed feelings about all those animated user pics. Some I have seen are cool, but all that flashing can be irritating at times. I might create some (tasteful ones) anyway, since I have the know-how. What do you think? Maybe if I had something specific... anyone been wishing for an animated user pic I can help create?

I wouldn't mind a wiggling icon for when I'm really happy. No flashing of images involved.

nope, sorry. I know nothing about creating moving gifs which is why I haven't made my own. In fact, I know very little about photoshop in general so my layer work is minimal. But now that I'm becoming more dependant on layers i adore them. Layers and transparencies. That's how I made my plaid shirt.

yeah, I realized that subscribing to your syndicate was going to be too many points until I got a paid account, but now that is not a problem!
